Mr. Regular's car (Silicone Sally) is in the shop for a week. He's not handling the lack of vehicle well.

This is the first of two videos, in this 'series' - the sequel to this is: 'No Car: Day 2, 3'.

*Looking at empty garage*
I’m at my parents’ house…no car.

*Looking at some pole on wall*
I don’t have a car for a week.

*Batting post-it notes on a string*
Got a lot of time to kill…

*Looking at a tennis racket holder*
Pete Sampras Grand Slam, with ‘Soft-Shock’ system, number one in tennis.

*Getting a can of V8 Vegetable Juice*
V8…100% vegetable juice from concentrate with added ingredients.

*Opens microwave*
This is all very nice, but I miss my apartment.

*Looking at floor*
I miss my 1970s carpet.

*Climbing stairs previously seen in first review*
GOT A LOT OF TIME TO KILL…

*Looking at Mr. Regular’s bags*
It feels like I’m living in a hotel.

*Looking at Mr. Regular’s camera bag*
No car.

*Looking at drumsticks*
No car.

*Looking at vintage exercise bike*
No car.

*On the exercise bike*
NO CAR!

*Zoomed into speedometer*
UUUGH!

The gang made forays into the gardens of old maids… or went down to the castle and fought a battle on the shaggy weedgrown rocks, coming home after it… weary… stragglers with the stale odours of … foreshore in their nostrils… and the rank oils of the seawrack upon their hands and in their hair.

Aubrey and Stephen had a common milkman and often they drove out in the milkcar… to Carrickmines where the cows were at grass. While the men were milking the BOYS-

*Down in the basement*
Idle hands are the Devil’s playground!

*Looking at old RC boat resting on a paint can*
This is a 1980s Seaslammer electric toy boat.

*Looking at internals of boat, battery acid everywhere*
It is powered by twin-electric motors made by a small child in INDONESIA.

*Looking at underside of boat, battery acid all over the back*
It is able to transverse the length of a small swimming pool without falling out of range.

*Looking at reassembled boat, opening battery hatch*
It is powered by three AAs, which get shorted out when water splashes inside the toy.

*Looking generally at the basement*
NO CAR.

*Mr. Regular pedals on the exercise bike, wearing a helmet*
